So I made a visit a local Rolex dealer to see if they had the 2021 Explorer 1, because it’s been in my head a little recently (with some back-and-forth debate) and I at least wanted to experience in person to see if it would affect me basically.
I did not intend to start yet another thread on a new 36mm Rolex Explorer. During the week, I walked past a Rolex Authorised Dealer while I was on my way to a Work Training thingo. They were not yet open but I saw a two tone 36mm Explorer, which got me excited, and I made a mental note to try it on during the weekend. I’ll try a dealer that’s out of state. 3-months without a commitment that I’ll ever see a watch doesn’t seem right. Just called. No luck. The dealer said they’re not allowed to sell outside of the immediate area. Also no stock. I guess depends on location. In my area, if you don’t purchase at least a precious metal reference, one is pretty much out of luck to get a call.
