Have been looking at it non-stop since receiving and come to notice that one of the lugs looks to be . It's not that it is over polished, it was brushed with an artifex abrasive wheel, which softens up the lug as well. This can be restored with a hard abrasive wheel, which would be used during a case re-cut as well.
Lug thickness is not materially reduced by "overpolishng" unless you rub away with a Cape Cod daily for decades.
