All inventories are tied to the player. The Alchemy Bag, like the Alchemical Chest, has 104 item slots. Multiple bags can be held in a player's inventory at the same time. A catalytic lens, alchemical bag, void ring, and swiftwolf's rending gale can get you about a dozen red matter in ~10 minutes of mining at y=11. Use that to make some collector/array/condenser set ups, rinse, and repeat, until you have no idea what to do with all of your red matter, and realize that Equivalent Exchange is a horrible mod. It is possible to dupe the contents of Alchemical bags in the transmutation table. There isn't really any tricks to it, just put it in the learn slot and add emc. The resulting bag will have the same contents that were in the bag origina.
easiest glitch I know of yet is alchemy bag + black hole band. Toss an item onto the ground, small chance for the bag to dupe the item. I went from a diamond into a full omega klein star within 5 minutes of getting those 2 items. also works for solar arrays, MSFU's, teleporters, other black hole bands, filters, literally anything in game.
